Political Science Transfer Student Scholarship

The Transfer Student Scholarship offered by the Department of Political Science is a need-based award that assists students transferring to JMU for their final two years of study. The scholarship covers $1,500 of tuition for one year, and is renewable for one additional year. We want to raise $6,000 in this campaign to fund two additional scholarships for the next cycle. The Political Science Transfer Student Scholarship reduces the financial stress faced by incoming students.

Transfer students must adjust to a different campus culture, learn within a new academic structure, and find friends on a large campus. Supporting this scholarship enables JMU to recruit energetic students regardless of economic need.
